Position:                        Secondary Social Studies Teacher

Description:  Brookstone School, a college preparatory day school in Columbus, Georgia, is seeking applicants for a Social Studies teacher.  All candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills, an educational philosophy consistent with the mission and goals of Brookstone School, and certification or qualification to teach secondary Social Studies including World History, Psychology, and Comparative Religions.  The candidate must demonstrate proficiency with new technology and a willingness to integrate technology into classroom lessons. Candidates should possess the ability to contribute to other facets of school life beyond the classroom. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Position:          Science Teacher for 7th and 8th Grades

Description:     Brookstone School, a college preparatory day school in Columbus, Georgia, is seeking applicants for the position of middle school science teacher.  Serious consideration will be given to candidates who are fully certified to teach science.  Middle school certification and experience are preferred.  Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a philosophy consistent with the mission and goals of Brookstone School.  The position will include teaching life science and physical science, organizing and coaching Science Olympiad teams and full participation in annual science fairs.
