Brookstone Financial Assistance Program
Financial Assistance Program
It is an aim of Brookstone School to remain a feasible alternative in education for all qualified students regardless of financial need. With generous assistance from foundations, parents, alumni, and friends, the school is able to provide financial aid to a number of students.
Basic Principles
In order to determine the need of each family, the parents of each financial aid applicant should submit a financial aid application online to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid in Princeton, New Jersey. Following the analysis by the Service, the application is reviewed by Brookstone School's Financial Aid Committee.
Financial assistance is awarded annually to eligible students. Each year parents are required to complete a new confidential statement if they wish to be considered for assistance for the coming school year.
Students benefiting from the financial aid program are expected to maintain satisfactory grades and deportment.
Procedure
Parents interested in the financial aid program can go online to complete the application at sss.nais.org. The Customer Service Center at 800.344.8328 is available to help with the completion of the Parents' Financial Statement. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible after January 1. A copy of the family's 2012 Federal 1040 form should be uploaded to School and Student Service as soon as it becomes available in order to complete the application. Brookstone School will be notified as each application with SSS is complete.
It is essential that requests be filed in a timely manner so that the committee can likewise inform families of the assistance they may expect to receive.
