Brookstone Middle School welcomes the opportunity to help students grow and navigate the often turbulent years of preadolescence. We strive to provide each student with opportunities to develop to full potential mentally, physically, ethically, and socially as they become productive, creative, and self-directed members of society.

The school's programs are designed to foster in each student a strong sense of personal and social responsibility. We offer an exciting mix of rigorous academics, challenging competitive and intramural athletics, outdoor education, fine arts, social experiences, service projects, and opportunities to develop leadership skills.

The middle school consists of grades 6 through 8, with three sections at each grade level. The desired number in each section is 21. Our experienced faculty is well trained to meet the needs of middle school students. At each grade level, a team of three teachers provides instruction in English, math, science, and social studies. PE, fine arts, and foreign language are also provided daily.

Though the middle school years are sometimes viewed as "preparation" for upper school, we strive to make them much more than that by giving students daily experiences that are meaningful, stimulating, and rewarding.
