My decision to come to Brookstone initially was made for family, and that approach proved to be an excellent tone-setter for what I would find when I got here. I’ve worked in good places with good people before, almost exclusively given the nature of our profession. What is different is the way in which people here invest in one another as a matter of course, from day to day. Not just in very good or very difficult times, and not just a dedicated faculty looking out for students. Where a community like Brookstone stands out is in the quiet moments, on average days, when people in any number of roles make another’s happiness a meaningful part of their own. Kindness, investment, and time, given freely and without calculation or fanfare, make an assembly of good and dedicated people into something more than that. It becomes something approaching Home.
