Uniform Guidelines
Brookstone School maintains an official standard of dress, complete with a school uniform that must be worn every day. The implementation of the Dress Code is designed to encourage everyone to focus attention on academics rather than on outward appearance, as well as increase visible safety across campus.
All standardized dress must be purchased from Lands’ End or the Cougar Shop. When ordering uniforms through Lands’ End, you will be asked for your child’s gender and grade. Please make sure you enter the correct information so that your child will have the correct standardized dress items. When you visit the Lands' End website, the Brookstone portal will show the options available for the child’s grade. Students at Brookstone are expected to be well-groomed and decently dressed at all times. They are expected to respect their school uniforms and wear them with pride. The uniform dress code is not a reflection of current fashions. Like all other discipline matters, enforcement of the dress code is based on cooperation among students, parents, and the school. If a student is out of uniform or does not adhere to the uniform guidelines and it cannot be corrected at school, the student may be asked to return home to correct the uniform issue. All clothing should be clearly marked with the student’s name. The school cannot be responsible for articles of clothing left at school. Unclaimed clothing items not picked up after specified dates will be donated to the used uniform sale or eventually to charity.
