Career Opportunities
As a community, we firmly believe that education happens not just in classrooms but also on the stage, on the fields, and in every exchange between faculty and students. Each of us embraces the importance of lifelong learning, and we support one another in developing individual talents.

Faculty Voices
We have a dedicated, professional, top-notch faculty. Our teachers are the best and they make all the difference in the world to our students, our parents, and our school. Faculty Voices is a series of testimonials from a few of our faculty members.
The best award I have had the privilege to receive is for a student who learns to be a better speaker, actor, or human being because of some seed I planted during their middle and high school years. It has been a real pleasure continuing my journey here at Brookstone School.

I love coming to a place that values me and my ability to teach...What makes Brookstone so special? It's the community, along with high educational expectations. It's the faculty who have an extra planning period, so they develop a program called Forrest Friday and reach out to bring in the community and do something wonderful for students instead of taking an extra planning period for themselves. It's the parents who love and support you because you love and support their children.
Dana Holland
Kindergarten Teacher
The first time I stepped onto Brookstone’s campus, I could feel how special it really was. Everyone I met was so warm and welcoming. I was drawn to Brookstone’s core values and high expectations. The relationships with fellow teachers, staff, and students are what makes Brookstone so special. Brookstone strives to make a difference in the lives of others. I love that Brookstone students are taught values, hard work, and servant leadership.

People Matter: Our community is one of our greatest assets and what sets us apart from other schools. At Brookstone, each child, each family, and each member of the community is known. This goes beyond academics and the classrooms. Our teachers know our students as learners, as athletes, as performers, as artists, as servant leaders, as comedians, as dancers, as friends to their peers, as big or little sisters and brothers. Our teachers know all these things about our students because it is important.
Emily Allardice
Second Grade Teacher
Brookstone has amazing individuals that daily brighten up our campus daily as difference-makers. It is rare for a school to excel in academics, athletics, and the arts, but we strive to improve in all three areas consistently. What we do here matters, and I firmly believe that Brookstone is a great place to be.
Adam Anthony
MS/US Spanish Teacher
Each and every day, we have opportunities to interact with students in a myriad of ways, and what a joy it is! Like iron sharpening iron, interactions with both faculty and students refine and help us become the people we are intended to be.
Tessa Calhoun
Upper School Teacher
From academics to athletics, I have had the opportunity to watch our students grow from the beginning to the end of their school days. My love for this place runs deep, and I am very passionate about it. I have always told people that I cannot see myself doing what I do here anywhere else. I have been blessed to be a part of this family.

Middle School Teacher
Thirty-seven years ago, I walked across this campus looking for a school for my four-year-old. I left that campus tour with great assurance that it was the best place for him. “Who wouldn’t want their children to spend 14 years learning at Brookstone!”
Frances Berry
Director of College Counselor
The space and resources given to me as a Brookstone teacher have impacted more than just my classroom teaching. I have become a stronger teacher, yes, but also a more deeply connected community member.
Erin Wenzel

I am so grateful for the enduring relationships I’ve formed over the years with fellow faculty members, students, and alumni. The opportunities for students and teachers are endless! Most importantly, Brookstone has given me a sense of family in Columbus. That’s the reason I love this place: people truly matter.

Upper School French Teacher
What do I bring to Brookstone? While I’ve earned accolades that recognized my work and dedication in the classroom over the years, thinking about this question, the honest answer is years of trial and error, reflection, re-invention of material, knowing when I need to change, and when I need to spark a change in students.
Stephanie Fuerte
Middle School English Teacher
My decision to come to Brookstone initially was made for family, and that approach proved to be an excellent tone-setter for what I would find when I got here.
