Career Opportunities

As a community, we firmly believe that education happens not just in classrooms but also on the stage, on the fields, and in every exchange between faculty and students. Each of us embraces the importance of lifelong learning, and we support one another in developing individual talents.

Faculty Voices

We have a dedicated, professional, top-notch faculty. Our teachers are the best and they make all the difference in the world to our students, our parents, and our school. Faculty Voices is a series of testimonials from a few of our faculty members.

Faculty Voices: Brookstone Theatre Program

I teach theatre. I was awarded Georgia’s Outstanding Theatre Educator in 2018 by the Georgia Thespian Society. I have numerous other awards that hang in my office, my home, and my classroom for countless other things with teaching and radio. But the best award I have had the privilege to receive is a student that learns to be a better speaker, actor, or human being because of some seed I planted during their middle and high school years. It has been a real pleasure continuing my journey here at Brookstone School. Only here can I look out into an audience and see not only parents and friends but also administrators and teachers who have come to support the student body and enjoy a great show. That is a rare occurrence in a school theatre program and not one I will ever take for granted.

Faculty Voices: From Public School to Brookstone

I love coming to a place that values me and my ability to teach...What makes Brookstone so special? It's the community, along with high educational expectations. It's the faculty who have an extra planning period, so they develop a program called Forrest Friday and reach out to bring in the community and do something wonderful for students instead of taking an extra planning period for themselves. It's the parents who love and support you because you love and support their children.

Faculty Voices: People Matter

People Matter: Our community is one of our greatest assets and what sets us apart from other schools. At Brookstone, each child, each family, and each member of the community is known. This goes beyond academics and the classrooms. Our teachers know our students as learners, as athletes, as performers, as artists, as servant leaders, as comedians, as dancers, as friends to their peers, as big or little sisters and brothers. Our teachers know all these things about our students because it is important.
