    to be a Brookstone Cougar!
The Summer of 2017 has seen renovations across our campus and new faces in our classrooms! We have experienced exponential growth in new admissions and the Brookstone Parents Association (BPA) is ready to CONNECT – to connect our new and returning families together and to needs in the school, athletic and arts communities.

At Brookstone, parents are vital to the personality and culture of our school. Brookstone thrives as a result of parental involvement and our parents thrive because they are involved. As an army of volunteers, the BPA enhances every area of campus life whether it is by hosting special community builder events such as Breakfast Under the Lights or Sweetheart Dance or by raising funds to enrich school divisions, athletics and arts communities. There is a place for every parent to use his or her talents – no task is too small!

The BPA looks for strong leaders as well as those more comfortable following; individuals with artistic talent and those who love crunching numbers; parents who enjoy fundraising and those who would never ask for a dime. Whether it is chairing Bidding for Brookstone or Cougar Cup, planning social events like Back to School Tailgate or working in the library to shelve books or working in the SWAP shop, there is an important job waiting for every parent at Brookstone!
I am honored to serve as your President for 2017-2018 and look forward to walking alongside a great group of volunteers to make your experience as a Brookstone Family the best it can be. Won’t you join us? Let us know how you want to connect by completing our Willingness to Connect form.

There’s no better time to be a Brookstone Cougar! I’ll see you at the Back to School Tailgate on Friday, August 18th at 6:30!

    Go Cougars!

    Jennifer Shaw

    BPA President 2017-2018

The Brookstone Arts Alliance was formed in August 2015 and is charged with specifically supporting the needs of the Brookstone Fine and Performing Arts Department.  There is great potential for this alliance in the areas of fundraising, event hospitality, production support, visiting arts and Arts Outreach Programs.

Cougar Nation

"The mission of the Brookstone Parents Association (BPA) is to promote cooperation and unity among parents, faculty, staff and students while encouraging parental understanding of the schools programs whilst fostering effective parental involvement in the children’s growth by enabling parents to serve the school and the community. used for quotes or to highlight short amounts of content."
The Brookstone Parents Association (BPA) and what makes us fundamentally different from most other parent associations is our focus on giving back to the children. Our core strength is much more than just a fancy booster club – we raise money and put it right back into the schools via special projects. We not only raise money, we raise community. We host events that bond our school families. We align ourselves with the needs of the school divisions, faculty and administration. We forge business partnerships within our community that impact our bottom and our top lines –our top line being a leader of service within our community.
We couldn’t do this without the best volunteers – you!

You are a shining example of servant leadership which Brookstone so profoundly teaches our children. Thank you for exemplifying it with your willingness to serve with the BPA.
